Kukui is a well-maintained Cal 39 that has traveled up and down the North American coast and the Sea of Cortez. It was lovingly rebuilt in the early 2000s with no consideration to expense. Kukui is 39 feet long with a deep keel of 7 foot draft. She’s been completely reconditioned with new engine, sails, mast, rigging etc. , Also, in 2022, all of the old bottom paint was sanded off, primer applied and 2 coats of new bottom paint. This boat is comfortable at sea as well as at anchor. She handles well in all types of weather.
