The companionway is off-set to port to allow a more spacious galley. Going down below decks you will find the spacious L shape galley to starboard while the forward facing navigation station is to port. Moving forward the main salon opens with a convertible drop-leaf table with port and starboard settees. The forward head is between the salon and the V-Berth on port side. Access to chain locker is possible through the V-Berth.
To the port of the companionway leading aft is a hallway leading to the aft cabin. Hallway includes a workbench and storage space. Aft cabin has double berth to port and generous storage throughout. Batteries are located below aft berth. On starboard side, is the head and shower.
Easy access to engine.
The interior is all crafted by the famous Taiwanese marine carpenters who set a standard for teak wood carpentry. In one word – SUPERB!
The old original engine was taken out in 2001 and a new 65 HP Sabre Perkins Diesel was installed. The Borg-Warner transmission and the Velvet V-Drive were rebuilt, a new prop shaft and a new muffler were all installed in 2001 when the engine project took place.
Currently all of this has about 3300 hours.
In 2008, a Max Prop was installed.
70 amp alternator that came with the engine, takes care of the start battery. A high output 160 amp “Mark Grasser” alternator and 3 stage regulator (new in 2016) takes care of the house bank.
