1988, ERICSON 38-200

$62,000.00

Description

:”Gypsea” is a true turn-key ready boat. Very clean inside & out. It is easy to see that this boat is loved by the owners just after seconds on board. Introduced in 1980, the Ericson 38 was designed by the incomparable Bruce King whose talent for drawing beautiful boats of near perfect proportions ranks him with the likes of Herreshoff, Stevens, Rhodes, and Tripp. The ERICSON 38-200 shared the same hull, keel, rudder, with earlier versions (ERICSON 38x) but had a new deck and interior with a recessed companionway. Ericsson are well built, better than the average cruiser/racer style of the time. Very rigid construction with a grid system to distribute the loads. It’s below the waterline lines shout performance (fin keel and spade rudder) while the interior and construction (stringers, bulkheads, mast step) give comfort, sea kindness and more off-shore feel.

Buying a boat outside the USA can have some tax advantages in saving you the State Sales Tax and the boat is already where you want to start Cruising.  When buying a boat in Mexico, all of the title transfer, paperwork and funds transfers are handled in the United States by a Marine Documentation Services Company for your convenience and piece of mind.

The owners of La Paz Cruisers Supply and Brokerage are cruisers themselves and have been living and cruising aboard in Mexico since 2008. Our team has crossed oceans, sailed to the South Pacific, delivered catamarans from South Africa and
sailed around the Caribbean, Mediterranean and world. Our goal isn’t to waste your time, but to help you find a boat that fits your budget and dreams.
