1974 Spencer 1330 44ft Cruiser

$99,000.00

Description

SV Trinity is hull No 1 of the Spencer 1330 design that was built in 1974 as the mold plug and launched in 1983.  The current owners have owned her for the last 17 years and came to Mexico from Bainbridge, WA with the 2023 Baja Ha-ha cruisers rally.   Lacking nothing for full time cruising and exploring, the low-maintenance lack of teak above decks is balanced by the beautiful teak woodwork below decks.  With Samson Amsteel 3/8 running rigging and lifelines if you are looking for a truly Cruise Ready boat, SV Trinity has been lovingly maintained and upgraded for off the grid cruising.  Recent yard work includes: fresh bottom paint, recaulking of the hull to keel seam, retorquing of the keel bolts, installing new PYI dripless shaft seal, sanding and varnishing the cabin sole in October 2024.

Currently hauled out at the cruiser favorite, Cabrales Boat Yard in Puerto Penasco, Mexico, the boat is easily viewed 1.5hrs South of the Arizona border or 4hrs south of the Phenix, Arizona airport.  Puerto Penasco makes for a great cruise starting location with the many Islands of the Sea of Cortez awaiting your exploration as you work your way South to famous Sea of Cortez cruising spots, like Puerto Escondido and La Paz.
