Description

1985 Fast Passage 39

Cat’s Paw IV is a Fast Passage 39, touted as one of the classic offshore boats. She is cutter rigged with a furling main and has a cutaway fin keel with a large skeg hung rudder. That sail configuration with a triple reefed main gives you many sail options. She has an auto pilot and a Monitor Windvane. Added to this, the wind generator and the solar panel give her ample power when she is at sea and there is little need to run the engine for electricity on the boat. She is a basic boat without a lot of bells and whistles making maintenance fairly uncomplicated. Her double ended design allows you to ride out following seas in comfort. The new Force 10 stove and refrigerator with a small freezer allows you to produce gourmet meals while at sea or anchor. Once the anchor is set, with the anchor attached to all chain, you can relax in the restful salon or in the covered cockpit and enjoy drinks with your friends using the custom cockpit table.
